From the recording JAIL ASHLEY MOODY, RON DESANTIS AND CASEY TOO
Lyrics
In the Sunshine State of Florida, where shadows loom thick
Ron DeSantis in power, is pulling all his tricks
Whispers of greed abounded, in the halls of his reign
TEN million dollars gone missing, he thought nobody would feel the pain
His attorney general, Ashley Moody, stood by, with a smile on her face
While Ashley helped those tax dollars vanish (ten million of them), vanish without a trace
For the disabled children of Florida, they took what they thought was theirs
Budgeted funds stolen by the Florida G O P
Why would Ashley Moody, and DeSantis steal from the innocent youth
DeSantis and Moody covering up and hiding the truth
Tell me, how low can these G O P leaders go so low, ya know
Stealing from disabled children, oh man they put on a show
Campaigning with lies, on the backs of the weak and disabled kids
Stealing tax dollars for the power they sought instead
While the kids waited for help, now denied for lack of funds
DeSantis and Moody fattened their checkbooks with no guilt and no shame
It’s a crime of the worst kind, hearing children cry
Ten million dollars gone...... the kids were just tossed aside
And let's don't forget Casey DeSantis, he gave her TWO MILLION dollars for her fake non-profit to use
Republicans’ greed wrapped in a twisted guise
What’s left for the youth when you lie, shouldn't you lose
Why would Ashley Moody, and DeSantis steal from innocent youth
DeSantis and Moody, are going cover up and keep hiding the truth
Tell me, how low can these G O P leaders go
Stealing from disabled children, man they really do think they're number one
Lost in the Florida budget, there’s a criminal story to unfold
G O P Promises all broken, the children's futures sold
As we rally together, fighting criminal schemes of the G O P
No more silence please, let’s shatter their shitty G O P dreams
The cries of the kids can’t be ignored
Let's hold Moody, Ron and Casey accountable, and make them face the music
For every dollar stolen our voices will tell the truth
And as they lecture us, covering their tracks, we'll keep exposing the truth
With unity among us, the truth is in sight
We’ll stand up for justice for these children, we’ll continue the fight
to Jail Ashley Moody, Ron DeSantis and Casy too
So rise up Florida citizens, let your voices be heard
For the disabled children, stolen funds, let’s tell them no more
Funds meant for their future, let’s make them give it back
In the battle for justice, let's charge Ron, Casey and Ashley
And put them on the prison track
